Starting in April, the official IELTS test in its two Academic and General modalities, it can be done in two different formats:
Academic IELTS & IELTS General Training face-to-face on paper
IELTS General Training by computer in an authorized center
In the case of IELTS and unlike TOEFL, the Speaking section will always be done, in both categories, with a teacher in person.
IELTS it is an international test and as a consequence, in the Listening section, you will hear a variety of accents.
As a suggestion, we recommend taking the exam on paper because for certain students, it may be easier for them simply by doing it in those conditions.
The prices and the duration is the same in both exams, but for people with dyslexia, as long as they accredit it before registering, they can give them more time to take the official test. Check the official page of IELTS.
