From July 26, 2023, the examinees of the TOEFL iBT® You will find several improvements in the new TOEFL test and the main one is that the time is reduced to a maximum of 2 hours. Examinees will enjoy the following benefits:
- Simplified instructions and navigation.
- A shorter Reading section with just two reading texts, each with 10 questions.
- A more concise writing task with more current texts that replaces the current Independent Writing task.
- Elimination of all questions from the exam that do not count towards the final score.
