About the TOEFL

What is the TOEFL?

Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test that is recognized around the world and has a twofold purpose.

The TOEFL test assesses the knowledge of English of people whose mother tongue is not English.

The logic behind these "built-in" tasks is that English is used as in the academic world where it is rarely spoken or written without more, but as part of a dialogue in a specific text, a conference or with other students. Thus, two thirds of the TOEFL iBT (and two-thirds of the evaluation) revolves around the listening and listening comprehension.

TOEFL iBT It is done on a computer in an authorized Center in a room with 15/16 more students in which there is usually a constant murmur where, at times, full concentration cannot be maintained.

The results can be seen on the official website after 10 days and print 13 days after taking the official exam.
